
The Army and Air Force Exchange Service operates a variety of facilities on base. The base exchange main store is located next to the commissary. Inside is Subway, GNC Nutrition Center, an optical shop, barber and beauty shops and a dry cleaner. Burger King is located near the commissary.

The shopette and gas station, Building 400, is Warren’s convenience store. It stocks a variety of food and beverage items. It also has the Classs IV package store and a two-bay garage for lube/oil changes, tire sales and mounting. For more information call (307) 634-7298.
The commissary is a modern supermarket serving the needs of active duty, retirees, reservists and their families. They offer a complete line of meat, produce, grocery, bakery, and deli items including rotisserie chicken. Items are sold at cost, with an added five percent surcharge to pay for remodeling and construction of new commissaries. Shoppers save on average over 30 percent on their grocery bill. Coupons are accepted as well as food stamps, WIC and credit/debit cards.
Shoppers must show appropriate ID cards when making purchases. The commissary has self-employed baggers to assist patrons with their purchase. Baggers are not commissary employees and work for tips only.
The commissary is open six days per week, Tuesday through Sunday.

The Auto Center’s highly skilled and customer driven staff provides many services such as turning rotors, drums, brake work, front end work, CV shafts, bearing repacking, engine tune ups, computerized four wheel alignment, wheel balancing and engine diagnostics. Our technicians are ASE certified.
A large variety of new equipment including five lifts and a large welding booth are available for use.
A great selection of specialized hand tools, battery chargers, drills, drill presses, spring compressors, hydraulic presses, pullers and more is offered. State-of-the-art Mitchell and Alldata DVD repair printouts are available for domestic and foreign vehicles, 1982 to current.
The Car Care Because WE Care program is for first-term airmen and spouses of the deployed. They can receive a free preventative maintenance and safety check, lube, and oil and filter change on their primary vehicle. The Arts and Crafts Center is the place to pursue a hobby or obtain a special gift or custom award.
The center is located at 6905 Diamond Creek Way and consists of the Wood, Custom Frame, Engraving and Multi Crafts centers.
The Wood Center offers a wide variety of power equipment and hand tools for in-shop use. They have a variety of experience; not only do they manufacture many custom designs but will help you construct your woodworking project. Other services offered are repairing damaged items, advice in safe tool operation and project design. The motto of the center is “if you can think of it, they can build it”. One on one instruction or group lessons may be arranged for all experience levels. The center has a large selection of commonly used woods for sale and has many sources for other more exotic varieties. A professionally stocked frame shop has both metal and wood molding materials, as well as a large selection of matting items for sale. Unique moldings and mats may be special ordered. Basic, decorative and preservation framing is available as a do-it-yourself project or you may have the experienced staff accomplish it. Framing classes are conducted by appointment for the beginner through advanced framer. Any questions you have can be answered by calling the Frame Center at 773-3166.
The Multi Crafts Center provides for pottery and ceramic projects for all age. New classes offered throughout the year. Groups are welcome.

Outdoor Recreation, 6205 15th Cavalry Ave, provides rental equipment, base fishing permits, paintball activities, outdoor adventure trips, rental of two base pavilions, secured and unsecured recreational vehicle storage, as well as a 125 site FamCamp.
Equipment rentals include hundreds of items including boats, campers, super cookers, tents, fishing rods, mountain bikes, metal detectors, snow skis and snowboards. A boating safety certificate is required for all boat rentals, and a free course is available. Equipment can be rented by the day, weekend or week at very reasonable prices.
Discounted ski lift tickets are offered during the ski season saving the military skier 10 to 50 percent off resort prices.
The outdoor adventure program does regularly scheduled and custom trips including fantastic ski resorts, whitewater rafting adventures and premier biking, hiking, camping and fishing trips. Also, enjoy a tour to Mount Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park, the Denver Zoo or one of the old west mountain gambling towns.
Fishing on base requires a base permit which is available at outdoor recreation. All three base lakes are available for fishing. Centennial Lake, located by the front gate, is stocked with large-mouth bass, blue gill and crappie. It is catch and release only. North and South Pearson Lakes are stocked with various kinds of trout and has a four trout and six catfish per day creel limit. Fishing in Crow Creek requires a Wyoming fishing license as well as a base permit.
Warren Paintball Wars can be arranged by reservation. Nominal fees include the guns, paintballs and CO2 cartridge and safety gear.

Located on base along Crow Creek is FamCamp. The peak season is mid-May through Labor Day. Reservations can be made 30 days in advance by calling (307) 773-3874. A hospitality center houses the camp office, handicap accessible restrooms and laundry facilities. FamCamp offers 40 full hookup sites, 10 tent sites and 75 overflow sites for the military traveler.
Come check out the great things that are happening with our Community Center programs. We are temporarily sharing a home with the Base Library at 7205 Randall Ave. while Fall Hall has a major “internal facelift”. While we lose our climbing wall for the duration of the project, we’ve gained some pretty impressive “perks” as well.
If you are into gaming, you’ll want to come check us out. We have Xbox 360, PS-2, PS-3, and the Wii systems and a pretty impressive selection of games. Whether your preference is individual challenges or tournament play, we have a program that is geared toward you.
If your sport leans more to chess, foosball, ping pong or pool, be sure to check out the ongoing tournaments that are offered in our new shared location. If the balls you like to chase are a little larger and faster, then check out the batting cage that has been set up in the Archery Range, 6805 S. Frontier Rd. Choose from baseball or softball. If your interest leans more to the sport of archery, our range is calling your name. It’s a little “cozier” than before, but can still provide you with some great indoor archery opportunities.
The family programs are growing strong. In response to customer requests, the Toddler/Preschool Parent and Child Mornings Out are now twice a month. The focus on these mornings out for parents and young children is to give our young children a morning of fun, physical fitness, socialization, and interactive music.
For our school-age youth, the Community Center plans monthly socials and/or community awareness type events.
For preteens-teens they compliment youth programs by offering supplemental programs such as consumer education programs, archery instruction, specialty shoots, and Red Cross Babysitting courses.
For the entire family they offer family bingo, game nights, video nights, scrap booking/rubber stamp classes, and family archery.
Last but not least, folks of all ages can train and enhance both body and mind with our instructional Judo class.
As always, the Community Center staff continues to work collaboratively with other organizations to provide community wide programming such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Fun Run/Walk, Tops In Blue tryouts and performances, Teen and Family Talent contests, base level chess tournaments, Frontiercade base picnic activities, monthly family activities at the Trail’s End Club, Build-A-Boat competition, Trick or Treat Off the Street, the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and more.

Tradition, esprit de corps, dedication, sacrifice, integrity and pride are the traits of an Airman. The members of the 90th Missile Wing Honor Guard provide support for parades, retreats, changes of command, distinguished visitors, weddings, ceremonies and posting and retiring of the Colors. Providing military funeral honors is the primary mission of the honor guard. The final presentation of the flag that draped the casket is a solemn act of recognition and remembrance by a grateful nation for dedicated service and sacrifice.
The Warren Honor Guard is a voluntary team. Service on the honor guard is reserved for individuals with the desire to go above and beyond the call of duty, to represent the Air Force and a grateful nation. Chadwell Dining Facility, located at 6107 10th Cavalry, provides eligible patrons with outstanding food service. Nearly 600 customers eat at Chadwell Dining Facility daily. Breakfast, lunch, short order and dinner meals are provided Monday through Sunday.
The facility also offers a carry out service seven days a week. A variety of submarine sandwiches are offered during lunch and dinner on a made-to-order request Monday - Friday.
Popular meals include the quarterly Airman Appreciation Meal and the Wednesday ethnic meal featuring food from around the world. Ethnic specials are held weekly featuring Southern, Oriental, Italian, Mexican, Cajun and German.
Every Sunday is Family Day at Chadwell Dining Facility. All active duty members may bring their family members to dine at Chadwell from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Family members must be accompanied by their sponsor and have their military ID cards. The only exception to being accompanied by the active duty member is for family members of the deployed.
Family members of E1 - E4 active duty are welcome to accompany their sponsor to all Chadwell Dining Facility meal times.

Warren’s child development programs offer quality, affordable and conveniently located care to provide closely supervised play and developmental activities for children. Care is available weekdays on both a full-time and hourly basis. There is one child development center and many family child care homes on Warren. Located at 5000 Ft. Russell Way, the child development center provides care for children three months through five years from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.
Professional child development center staff members are available to provide a safe and pleasant environment and create a mental and physical developmental program for children. Daily learning experiences include large and small motor development, manipulative skills, creative arts to include painting, music and movement, simple science and math, outdoor play, hygiene and self-help. Special activities and field trips are planned for special learning experiences.
The family child care office offers an alternative form of childcare for parents who would like their children cared for in a home setting. Care is provided in military housing as well as off base. Caregivers, who are licensed by the Mission Support Group commander, complete 40 hours of training must meet strict Air Force requirements. Referral lists for in-home providers may be obtained from a variety of agencies on base such as family child care, the child development center or the community center. The Education and Training Section, 1205 Ziemann Blvd, provides the highest quality educational opportunities to officers, enlisted, family members, retirees, DoD civilians and the local community. Services include testing, counseling, financial aid information and degree programs ranging from associates through masters.
Testing for college credit may be accomplished through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP)or the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Educational Support (DANTES). The ACT and SAT are available for active duty members, and study materials are available. In addition to computer-based programs and reference books, guidance counselors are available to assist in planning each student’s educational goals. Individualized planning is also available for those pursuing an associate degree from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).
Locally available associate degree programs are offered through Laramie County Community College. Classes are conducted on base, at the main campus, and online. Bachelor’s degree programs are offered on base through Park University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.

For those seeking physical conditioning opportunities, there are two fitness centers on base. The main fitness center – Freedom Hall includes the 90th MDG’s Health and Wellness Center. Together with the HAWC, the center provides a variety of programs for physical fitness, social interaction, personal training, and self-improvement. The base also has Independence Hall. Open 24 hours every day, this facility has an indoor track and a variety of equipment for physical conditioning.
Located at 6000 N. Shriever Rd, near the Child Development Center, Freedom Hall Fitness Center is well equipped and staffed for individualized and group sporting activities including basketball, volleyball, and racquetball courts. A weight room offers the opportunity for individual conditioning with free weights, Life steppers and cycles, Precor treadmills, recumbent bikes, Strive weight training equipment, Stairmasters, and rowers.
For parents, Freedom Hall has an exclusive exercise room for you and your child.
A dry sauna is located in each locker room of Freedom Hall.
Around the base, there are three tennis courts, one basketball courts, three softball fields, three multi-purpose fields, a 1.3 mile track, as well as longer route maps for walking, jogging, and biking.
Intramural sports include flag football, softball, basketball, racquetball, bowling, golf and soccer. See your squadron sports representative for any questions regarding intramural sports.
Self directed incentive programs are offered to add fun and motivation to your workouts. These programs include Bike Across Africa, Walk Across America, Hike through the Peruvian Andes Mountains (cross training), the King Kong Club (Stairstepper), King Kong II Mount Everest, bench pressing and the Running Club.
Independence Hall is located at 6711 10th Cavalry. It is a fully equipped 24 hour field house appealing to group or individual fitness workouts. It hosts a 20 station Medex circuit, free weights, Lifecycles, Woodway treadmills, recumbent bikes, Stairmasters, LifeCircuit cross-trainers, Life rowers, a 1/10 mile running track, and an aerobics room.

Dive into the refreshing waters of a swimming pool. Statistics show swimming to be one of the most popular of all sports. Not only is it one of the best conditioning sports, it can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
You’ll love this pool! The filtration system has been converted to a saline verses a chlorine based sanitation method. This new filtration technique is gentle to the swimmers’ eyes, skin and hair -- no more harsh chemicals causing red eyes, or damaged bathing suits! Swimming lessons are offered throughout the year for various skill levels.
Open recreation swim is also offered. Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 11 - 13 may swim by themselves if a swim test is passed.
The Warren Waves Youth Swim Team meets to improve stroke mechanics, learn basic water rescue skills and for intramural competition. Parents play an active roll in the Warren Waves program.
The Spa at the Aquatic Center offers many services. Hot stone massage, couples massage, three types of body wraps, salt scrub and ear candling in addition to hour and half hour massages. Gift certificates are available for purchase.
Birthday parties are a splash at the Aquatic Center. Parents enjoy the ease of hosting a fun filled pool party that is sure to please the party guests.
Physical Training time can be scheduled for units who want to use the Aquatic Center as an alternative to traditional PT sessions. They can schedule water basketball, water aerobics, a circuit training workout or a combination of all.
Aerobics classes that improve cardio respiratory endurance for the beginning exerciser to the advanced athlete are offered. Work out in an environment that reduces the jarring often associated with other forms of sport and aerobic exercise.
Lap swimming is offered during the lunch hour, evenings and weekends. There are five lanes in the pool totally dedicated to the fitness swimmers. Lap swimming is free for the active duty member.

Youth Programs on base includes an accredited Before and After School and Summer Day Camp Program for ages 5-12. Also there is a pre-teen and teen open recreation program, and a diverse Youth Sports Program. They are also an affiliate member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, which offers many great opportunities for all ages to include: Youth of the Year, Torch Club, Keystone Club, the Arts and Life Skills. Also available to the Teens is the Youth Employment Skills (YES Program).
The Teen Center is located at 6204 Randall Ave. This program is for ages 13 - 18, and/or those currently enrolled in 7th grade. Some activities include pool tournaments, karaoke, video games, DDR, dart boards, basketball and volleyball. Special events include lock-ins, dances and community service projects.
The Pre-Teen Program is located at the Youth Center, 1755 Piute Dr. We offer video games, computers with Internet access, pool table, ping pong and an open gym. The Preteens also have dances and lock-ins.
The Before and After School and Summer Day Camp Programs, are held at the Youth Center and offer a variety of social and instructional activities in a state of the art center.
As a National after school Association accredited program, they place the highest priority on each child’s health, safety, and social development in our School Age Program. Children have the opportunity to work with computers, do homework, and participate in organized activities. Curriculums are planned to offer the youth a chance to learn new things, develop new skills, and most importantly, have fun.
Open Recreation at the Youth Center is especially designed with the pre-teen and teenager in mind. Activities such as field trips, parties, dances, holiday events, games, contests and other activities make this program a hit with our youth!
The Youth Sports Program offers a wide array of organized sports activities to develop desirable physical, emotional, and social skills in our youth. The Youth Sports Program includes soccer, basketball, cheerleading, baseball, and Teeball, tennis and golf lessons, and flag football. Youth ages 5 through 18, regardless of talent or ability, can experience the enjoyment and development that participation in the sports program offers. All coaches are trained and certified by the National Youth Sports Coaches Association.

A versatile sport to be enjoyed by all ages, bowling offers competitive and recreation opportunities for all members of the family. Into whichever category you fall, the Warren Lanes Bowling Center, 6004 10th Cavalry, is one of the finest modern bowling facilities in the Air Force. It is equipped with 12 AMF Automatic Pinspotters as well as full color Accuscore Automatic Scoring with computerized service for league bowling.
Open bowling, adult and youth leagues, intramural play and mixed leagues, varsity teams, tournaments and “Xtreme” glow bowling offer a variety of programs from which to choose.
Warren Lanes also has United States Bowling Congress (youth) and Pee Wee youth leagues. Annual scholarships are awarded to high bowlers in all divisions (excludes Pee Wee leagues).
The pro shop carries sundry bowling items and can special order most state of the art bowling equipment including balls, bags and shoes to enhance your bowling pleasure. Expert ball measuring, plugging and re-drilling is also available at the pro shop.

For those who enjoy a round of golf, F.E. Warren has a superb facility. Located on the northeastern end of the base are 18 beautifully laid out holes of golf. The course is open to everyone; military, guard, reserve, retired military and civilians as well as their family members. Golfers have the choice of paying the daily green fees or purchasing an annual pass. The annual season runs April 1 - March 31. Tee times are required for all daily play. Green fees vary by time of day and military rank. Soft spikes are required.
The clubhouse located at 6110 Golfcourse Dr., has a pro shop, an ATM, full swing golf simulator, a snack bar, the Grill, locker rooms and a beautiful patio overlooking the 9th and 18th greens. The pro shop offers a complete line of clubs, bags, balls, shirts, shoes, and jackets. Club fitting and special orders are also available. Rentals include golf carts, pull carts and clubs. The Grill provides quality food and refreshments and welcomes groups and organizations to enjoy lunch for meetings, farewells or other get-togethers.
Lessons and practice is what it takes to take your game to the next level and the Warren Golf Course has excellent programs and facilities for both. Lessons get underway in May and include private and group instruction such as, Golf 101, Link Up 2 Golf and Golf 4 Kids. Practice facilities at the Warren course are the best around! Take a bucket of balls to the driving range or the 155 yard practice hole. Tune up your chipping and putting skills on their practice greens.
Golfing with friends is always a good time and the Warren Golf Course offers numerous ways to socialize on the course with regular tournaments and special events, ladies and couple’s leagues, and a squadron intramural golf program.

The Airman and Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) is located at 7601 Randall Avenue. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We offer many programs to support single and married active duty military, Guard, Reserve, DoD civilian employees, retirees and all family members.
The A&FRC has two resource rooms available for use. Clients may use computers to access internet, accomplish on-line banking, type resumes, perform job searches, etc. The resource rooms also contain a vast collection of literature to assist clients with all aspects of the military lifestyle.
Our School Liaison program assists base leadership and command with key parent & school concerns, disseminates school information to military families, and informs school personnel on issues relevant to the military member’s school attendance including transition and deployment. The center’s Readiness NCO assists deployed members and their families and includes Hearts Apart morale calls, Hearts Apart social groups, Give Parents a Break childcare, Car Care Because We Care, video phone, free calling cards, and supervisor training covering deployed troops.
Our Career Focus program area assists members and their families with resumes, job searches, skills improvement classes, and annual career fairs. The Transition Assistance program provides pre-separation counseling and hosts a three day Department of Labor transition assistance workshop for members separating or retiring.
Our Personal Financial program helps members and their families with financial issues to include debt management and investment opportunities. The Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) provides financial assistance for unexpected travel emergencies, dental and medical expenses, and also supports programs such as Bundles for Babies and respite care. AFAS utilizes Operation Warmheart to assist in emergencies not covered by AFAS policies.
The Information and Referral program coordinates and provides local and nationwide information to assist families in finding needed resources for resolving problems or issues. Our Relocation Assistance area helps members who are arriving or departing the installation and includes programs such as 90th Wing Right Start, Spouse Orientation, Sponsorship training, Kids Move Too and Smooth Move, and Child Care for PCS.
The Family Life Education program coordinates the Key Spouse Program and assists families with work and life issues and also interfaces with on- and off-base community resource agencies in support of the military family.
The Airman’s Attic is for E-4s and below and their family members. This is similar to a free thrift shop and donations are accepted. Hours of operation are the second and fourth Saturdays of the months from 0800-1200 and the facility is located at 6900 Diamond Creek Way. The Cheyenne Room is a casual restaurant area in which lunch is offered. Customers can enjoy a variety of entrees, homemade soups, fresh salad bar, home-style rolls and breads, desserts and made-to-order sandwiches. Thursday night dining specials are also available.
Personnel enjoy the Wrangler and Rogers Lounges during their off-duty hours. The lounges offer a variety of nonalcoholic and alcoholic selections. DJs and live musicians offer a variety of musical entertainment. Club members can relax and socialize during weekly Friday night socials with complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
Members also enjoy special events each month including specialty brunches, Mardi Gras, Texas Hold Em, Warren Idol, comedy shows, pay per view events, theme parties, late night dances and more.

The post office, Building 235, sells stamps, parcel post, money orders, express mail services and insured mail. A limited number of post office boxes are available for rent. The postal service center is a service for authorized military members residing in the dormitory. Postal service boxes are accessible 24 hours a day. General delivery service is available during normal duty hours for temporary duty members and those residing in a temporary lodging facility until permanent housing is available.
